Jones as one of the few in his weight class who couldn't
hurt Jones with a punch. Jones, acted the fool, talking
to the crowd throughout. A travesty, really. And the
annoucers, cartoonish, Jones Fan Club in the house.
A joke. A step backward for boxing, for Lacy and for Jones.

Excellent fight for the full 10 rounds. Agbeko
won this one on effective aggression.
However, he didn't win it on my scorecard. I had it
Darchinyan by 3 rounds. Not sure why they gave
Agbeko some of the rounds that they did.
Nontheless, two excellent fighters, throwing punches
in bunches, brawling for every minute of the fight.

fighters. Why boo the fighters when they are being
smart, strategic? Stupid fans.
And why do the announcers always say they are smiling
when they open their mouths with teethguard, when actually
they are opening to take a breath or talk trash or show
the other fighter that they aren't hurt by the punch?
There was no hit while he was down. It was legal.
Thought it could have continued but the fight had turned.

Let me say that I think there is a lot right. MANY good matchups
at most weight classes. Many good venues. Frequent fights on t.v.
Refs overall do pretty well but there are too many stoppages that
end fights when it appears there's a chance for the fight to continue.
Announcing, while humorous, is generally one-sided for one fighter
irrespective of the actual action in the ring.
